Writing Updates
The kids in writing class have being playing a lot of games this month. Many of those have to do with being 100% present.  Unfortunately some had to learn the hard way.  Mitchell (one of the former students from the beginning of the semester) says that this is really unusual, “normally we do games at the end of class not at the beginning and end”. Last week students were beginning comics as their writing assignment. And Ceci set a record with Techne Tickets scoring a fantastic 39!! Way to go Ceci.
Exciting News
With spring break less than 3 weeks away it can be a pain to not be excited for the long, not so long break. And don’t forget Easter is a couple days away so go get eggs, paints, and snare wires (to trap the Easter bunnyJ) ready.  Make sure to wear green this Sunday so you don’t get pinched to be reminded that it is Saint Patrick’s Day.  Don’t forget April fool’s day which “isn’t” coming up soon.
Horrifying News
Pavel hasn’t turned in any tickets yet! What is going on with him? Max hasn’t shown up to classes in a while. Did he quit or did something happen to him? We might never know. Orink has been banished from writing class never to be written of again.

Sports
And she does it again and again and again!  Emily has been the champion runner in the writing class for weeks and Josh knows why. “It is not like she has anything to do other than that.” he says.  As Emily holds the lead others seem to follow her example and some seem as if trying to “beat” her in running more times then she has.
Weather
We have had beautiful weather for the past few days and that probably is one of the reasons why we are playing a lot of games outside. It will be in the high 80s low 75s all the way up to Monday.  There is a chance of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday for Roseville.  It is going to be pretty much the same in Loomis.
Don’t Forget
The end of month is coming up. Make sure to get some tickets. If you don’t have enough tickets you can put your tickets together with someone you trust. And if you have any ideas for the news paper tell Mitchell after class.
Recipes
Today’s topic is the B.S.A (Boy Scouts of America.) Train Wreck.
Items needed: spatula, pan, pot, 12 eggs, sausage, bacon, 1 bag of hash browns, and two burners.
1.     Cook sausage and bacon. 2. When sausage and bacon are done, put in to pot to keep warm and light stove on low. 3. Cook eggs and hash browns until hash browns are crisp. 4. Mix together and enjoy.

Criminal Reports
Pavel has been feeding lots of pedestrians to his giant, hideous, sea serpent and his rather cunning viper planning to take over the world. Will he ever be stopped?  You could be next.
To find out what is going on in your area in class, keep looking for the next edition of the Techne Times.
