Newspaper Reporters

Welcome back from Thanksgiving break!
To get back in the swing of things we played a game called Telestrations. It's a fun game of telephone but with drawing pictures and writing down what you think the picture is. Usually the word at the end of the game is much different than the one that a the beginning.  It may be on your child's Christmas list now.
Then everyone got their "dream job" of being a newspaper reporter. I gave them some wacky headliners and they have to write the story that goes with it. They need to type them up to look like a newspaper article and then I'm going to put them all together to create our own LOL News. Each student will receive their own copy. They can also write a comic to go in the funny section.
