Karaoke is the ancient Japanese art of singing along with prerecorded background music.
This week we are working on rewriting the lyrics to some of our favorite songs. The new lyrics should mean something to the writer, help tell the story of something going on in their lives. I told the students I would give extra credit for a song from the 80's. Some students choose to work with a partner and others wanted to create their own chart busting hit. These will be performed next week in class, singing is not required.Greek
