Getting the Goods on Your Parents

This week students need to interview two aunts or uncles to find out what their parents were like when they were younger. The questions are:

1. What was my parent like as a little child?
2.What was my parent like as a teenager?
3. Did the two of you get along well?
4. What is your favorite memory with my parent?
5. How did my parent help you become the person you are today?
6. What are some great stories about my parent that I don't know?

Please make sure to write in complete sentences, and it would be best to type these stories so they can be saved for future generations.

In class this week we wrote the ending of a story that I gave them the beginning of. It was great to see how imaginative everyone was. The premise of the story is that the student receives a birthday gift from an exotic uncle, who always gives strange, yet cool presents.
