We decided that we are tired of the "Happily Ever
After" endings to stories; so we wrote tragic stories instead. Making sure
to warn our readers beforehand that the story they are about to read is very,
very sad and may require a lot of tissue. We then built up a nearly perfect
hero, who only had one flaw and one thing they wanted more than anything else
in the world. This character has the best
idea ever for how to get the one thing he or she really wants. Then we
wrote how the flaw got in the way and things go from worse to worse to worse;
ending unhappily, of course.
