This week we had fun drawing imaginary animals, passing them around and then another class member wrote a description. We all tried to redraw the animal from our class members description. The idea of the lesson was to help students include more detail in their writing. It was interesting to see the variety of animals the students came up with and then try and explain someone else's drawing in words.
