Summer Writing Camp

This will be the most fun your child has ever had writing.  Even the reluctant writer won’t be able to resist joining in the creative process.

·         Day 1- Spy School- Intensive spy training program with cryptology, code names, gathering intelligence and debriefing.

·         Day 2- Pajama Party Inside a Fort- Build your own fort, then learn the ancient art of bedtime storytelling.

·         Day3- Life Size Board Game- The students will be the moving game pieces; and we will come up with the rules for playing the most amazing game ever.

·         Day4- If I Were King or Queen: Creating your own Country- Anything goes when creating your country: geography, government, money, trade, culture, natural resources, etc.

·         Day 5- Smell this Story, Taste This Poem- eat, smell, and feel your way through this lesson.

Become an expert at making your own Harry Potter spells worthy of dueling match at Hogwarts. Each day we will learn Latin root words that J.K. Rowling used to make her books so magical.

Pick from two one week sessions. This course is designed for grades 3-6, but it is flexible depending on the students’ abilities and interests.  Cost:  $125 for the first child in a family and $100 for each additional sibling.
