Welcome Rancho Murieta class to this blog.
Hopefully you will find this helpful in keeping track of homework and Greek & Latin words.
Today we got to know each other and Rachel Baston was kind enough to make nametags for everyone.
I introduced everyone to how I start class each week; it's with a little math. I find that this helps get the creativity flowing. It also shows that no one subject is an island; everything we learn is interconnected.
Next we played musical chairs with writing and the stories that resulted from this game were very interesting.
We finished off by learning ten Greek and Latin words, then playing 'Around the World' with the words.
Homework is to write a story and type it up - please make sure the font is no larger than 12 and that it's double spaced. The story can be about anything they want this week.
