IF YOU GIVE A GIRAFFE A GUMBALL

We wrote fun stories today based off of the wonderful books by Laura Joffe Numeroff. First we passed around a bag titled "Once Upon A Time" filled with wonderful items that propelled us to the next step in our adventure. We told a "If You Give a ______" story as a class. Once we were familiar with how to write one of these stories, each student chose their own animal and item to start their story with and wrote some wonderfully imaginative stories. Please ask them to share their masterpiece with them. Homework is to write more of these stories, each one will earn a ticket.
