Hide and Seek Poetry

This week we had some superhero guests surprise us by popping in and joining us for class. We talked about what superhero’s do and how they appear out of nowhere to rescue people in danger.  We wrote a short story about what our superhero would do in the face of a bunch of bad guys.
We then talked about what else can appear out of nowhere and when you least expect it- POETRY! I spread 15 poetry books across the table for the students to look through and find two that they could share with the class.
The students then wrote a poem and we play hide and seek poetry. They can rewrite these poems for a ticket.
Keep working with your child to master their Greek and Latin. Book reports can be turned in weekly for a ticket.
